It’s all about timing, isn’t it? Bluesky’s too late to the game when Meta rushed the unfinished Threads out. Its incremental updates are coming in as fast as Musk changes his plans for X. Mastodon, on the other hand… has been around for a bit, but it’s not really gaining traction amidst the people I follow, probably due to its complexities.

Besides X & Threads, I've sniffed around Bluesky & Mastodon. I'm also a consistent lurker here. Among these platforms, Micro.blog feels more “human”. Perhaps a lack of contraptions for instant gratification, and the deliberation given to word-crafting, helped lend authenticity to this space.
